Friday Five - Friendship

Friendship Friday Five
I've been reflecting this week on the gift of friendship, of people who will be there no matter what you need or when you need it. Sometimes a friend accompanies us through a dark place or dances with us through a joyful time or simply walks down the road of an ordinary time beside us.

Name five friends who have been there when you needed them.

Ok Here it goes:

WM (my husband) is my closest friend and has been through sooo much with me over the last 10 years with College, churches, ordination etc. I love you more than words can declare.

M. Although we only discovered each other 1 1/2 years ago it feels like we have known each other always. She is the sister I never had. I even get to borrow her clothes, it's taken 31 years to have someone I could borrow clothes with.

Caz n Co. They are now on the other side of the country but are friends that are always there for us on the other end of the phone. When we meet up in person it's like we only saw each other yesterday.

SS ( the Senior Pastor) We have a great mutual relationship which is incredibly supportive in all things. He is one of the few people I can truly vent with when things are frustrating and he understands and is able to help work through the issues.

TrueBlue. A friend from birth who is always there. In life's ups and downs we know each other will be there in person, at the end of the phone or on MSN. Doesn't matter what life throws at us we will still be in each others lives when we are 70.

Now there are so many other BW, KR, AB, Retreat group, Mentors and others who have been wonderful to me on my journey that they all deserve a mention. I have been soo incredibly blessed with the people that have crossed my path in life I can't wait to see who else I am going to meet.

Blessings Em

Five is somewhat limiting, isn't it? Thanks for sharing your friendship stories.
