At the moment I am researching a new program for church. It is called Family Mentoring.
This program aims to provide people with support as the go through transitions of life such as marriage, birth, teenage years, etc.
In doing this research I have come across a number of concepts regarding a good marriage. As it is people who have a "good marriage" that would become mentors to those entering marriage.
So I thought why don't I ask you, the blog readers, what indicators you would expect to see in a good marriage.
I look forward to hearing your replies
Emma
I'm a Baptist minister and this blog is full of my ponderings about life, faith, family, friends, ministry and other strange experiences I seem to attract. I am married to a wonderful man (WM) and have 2 terrific sons 16 (LB) and 19 (TI). Please feel free to come and leave comments.

The Journey begins
Hi all
I have decided to give being a blogger a go. People who know me would agree that I always have something to say, so I thought I would try and harness it on the net.
A little bit about me, I am a Baptist Pastor in Australia, my title is a bit presumptuous as I am still in the process of accreditation and ordination, but it is the nickname I seem to be attracting as my first name is Emma. So as I am planning on this being a long term journey and I have the utmost faith in the accreditation process I thought, rather than change the name after accreditation I would start now. Feel free to argue if you disagree
I am also a wife, mother, daughter, sister, soon-to-be-aunt, daughter-in-law and many other things.
I am unsure where this journey will take me but am excited about the possibilities.
I look forward to interacting with you in the future
